“Being honest, must be the hallmark of every security personnel”, Managing Director of G7 Security Systems has stated.
Mr. Mac-Reuben Kumah made this statement when G7 rewarded all day security officers stationed at the Headquarters of Standard Chartered Bank during the second bi-annual staff durbar 2016, of the company.
The rewards, which were in cash, were as a result of the honesty of one of our security personnel, S/O Mankata Acheampong. The ATM machine at the location brought out an amount of GHC200.00 after the customer who gave the order left in a hurry since the machine was delaying. Mankata took the money to his Site Supervisor, Sup. Seidu Baba, and together they took the money to the Branch Manager who subsequently re-debited it into the customer’s account and notified him accordingly.
The decision of both the security officer and the Supervisor to not only report the incidence but returned the money earned all officers on sight acknowledgement, admiration and handsome reward from Management of G7 Security Systems.
It indeed pays to be honest.
