G7 Security Systems has held its staff durbar for the first quarter of the year 2015.
The durbar which was held on March 28th 2015, was attended by over a hundred night guards as well as Administrative staff members.
The Managing Director, Mr. Mac-Reuben Kumah, in his address, noted that criminal activities are on the ascendancy as well as threats on our territorial borders hence the importance and need for security services. He therefore stressed on the need for all security personnel to recognise the value and importance of their profession.
He noted three key people who are very important when it comes to life and property protection i.e. Security personnel, Maid servants and Drivers. He therefore stressed on the need for these people to be taken seriously and valued at all times.
He advised the guards not to aid and abet crime in any way since that could harm them and in effect, harm the company as well.
He encouraged the guards to interrelate and cooperate with the Administrative Staff to push the agenda of the company. He noted the durbar was organised purposely to meet and communicate and share ideas with the guards. Director of Operations, Mr. Kofi Jakper Kakariba, informed the guards of a proposed Welfare Scheme by Management to take care of their welfare issues. It is to be managed by the guards themselves. The guards gladly embraced the idea. The durbar gave the guards the opportunity to dialogue with administration and express whatever sentiments they may be having.
Present also was a personnel from the Police CID Headquarters to take fingerprints of the guards so as to check for any criminal records they may be having.
Plans are far advanced for the durbar to be organised for day guards as well.
