The second half of the Bi-annual Staff durbar of G7 Security Systems for the year 2016 came off on September 21, 2016 at the G7 Headquarters.
The durbar brought together day guards within Accra-Tema zone.
The General Manager, Mr. Jakper Kakariba, in his address, welcomed the security officers and urged them to have the spirit of ownership in them since that will guide them to act with consciousness at all times.
The Managing Director, Mac-Reuben Kumah, who graced the occasion, expressed gratitude to the guards for turning up in high spirits.
Mr. Kumah used the opportunity to stress on qualities a good security officer must possess and uphold in the discharge of official duties. He said qualities like Integrity, Loyalty, Initiative, Courtesy, Smartness, Courage, and Discipline among others must be the hallmark of every security officer.
He admonished them to stay away from people who influence them negatively since that can lead to serious avoidable problems. He added that security must see themselves as protectors of life and property at all times and not thieves.
The guards were taken through Self Defense (Tae-Kwon-Do) and Physical Training by the Operations Manager, Mr. John Atubga.
Some deserving personnel were recognized and awarded for their honesty.
In attendance were Superintendent Iddrisu Issifu Tanko, District Commander at Mile 7 Police and Security Coordinator of Maxmart Shopping centre, Mr. Benjamin Evans.
