G7 Security Systems Ltd held its first bi-annual Staff Durbar on May 1, 2017 at its Head Office, Achimota-Accra.
The durbar, which was held for night guards within the Accra-Tema zones, was attended by about 200 security officers.
In his exposition on the theme: “PROMOTING G7 AS A BRAND”, Managing Director of G7 Security Systems, Mr. Mac-Reuben Kumah, advised the security officers to value and cherish the work they do. He stressed on the need for them to recognize their profession as a noble one and work with honesty and faithfulness.
He stated that whatever the security officers do on the field go a long to affect G7 as a brand either negatively or positively. He thus admonished them not to allow familiarity with the clients to sway them to compromise on security.
Management Consultant who was the Guest Speaker at the durbar, Mr. Yen Sapark, also outlined various roles the security officers play in promoting G7 as a brand. He gave them four key functions they must play to enhance their professionalism in the discharge of their duties which he termed as the PMOR: Patrolling, Monitoring, Observation and Record keeping. He advised them to brand G7 in such a way that it will be attractive to potential clients.
The second durbar for 2017 will be held for day guards within the second half of the year.
