As part of measures to raise the standard of private security services in Ghana, G7 SecuritySystems has made it a policy to equip its staff with basic knowledge in fire safety techniques.
This is to ensure that our personnel are adequately prepared to prevent fire as well as save life and property as and when the need arises at various locations under our protection. The very first step was taken when personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service Fire Academy and training school lectured night guards on fire prevention and fire fighting skills during our staff durbar for the first quarter of this year.
In their presentation, Divisional Officer, Patrick Amanor, (in charge of Industrial Training) andAssist. Divisional Officer, Joseph Azomnyang, lectured the guards on the following: How to handle and operate fire extinguishers, how to prevent fire, how to put out fire at the very initial stages, what to do when there is a fire outbreak, how to evacuate people in case of fire emergencies among others.
The guards were very participatory and expressed extreme joy for the initiative taken byManagement. The Officers are scheduled to be back during the staff durbar for the second quarter to give practical training to the guards so as to issue certificates to the guards as well as Attestation to G7Security Systems.
G7 … raising the standards!!!
