Kofi is a Certified Security Management Professional (CSMP®) and has been admitted as a full member of the International Security Management Institute (M. ISMI®). This outstanding accomplishment puts him in the premier league of security management professionals worldwide. CSMP is the most popular and the most challenging security management diploma globally, representing 150 countries and many of the biggest companies in the world; Kofi is in good standing as a member (M. ISMI®). SFJ Awards Approved Centre – University of Leicester is the accrediting body for the award of the Diploma, which augments the CSMP® certification and cements it as a formally-accredited educational qualification. Besides, Kofi is a member of APSOG and ASIS International.
He also holds a qualification in Management and Financial Accounting with experience in supply chain management, contract management and compliance. Kofi has over two decades of managerial experience in the Ghanaian private security industry, and is a very disciplined and a prudent Financial Manager. He has diverse skills that cut across administration and operations with a sound knowledge and experience in the implementation and monitoring of compliance processes as well as legislative requirements for procurement of the company.
Kofi understands the fundamental set of principles that underpin every security design, and is able to apply these to produce an optimally configured security program that is in harmony with the culture of an organization and its mission objectives. He is able to survey an organization’s security systems to identify areas of imbalance between risk and security, and to make appropriate recommendations to optimize security resources in order to achieve greatest risk mitigation at an economical cost. He is able to select from a menu of different crime prevention and management approaches to address both externally- and internally-perpetrated crimes.
He has the passion to provide guidance to company business units by assisting in coordinating internal compliance reviews, action plan development and monitoring new and existing legislation to ensure corrective measures are in place that prevents non-compliance. His ability to offer advice to all departments in procurement, ensuring effective and efficient running of the tender processes coupled with his desire to create an environment that promotes staff commitment to the achievement of the organizational vision, mission and strategy has put him as astute member of Team G7 over the years in the eyes of the customers.
Similarly, Kofi has oversight responsibility of the General Administration, Finance and Field Operations of the company. He is a founding member of G7 Security Systems Ltd, and has held roles such as Chief Financial Officer, Director of Operations, and General Manager until 2019, when he assumed the current position of the Deputy Managing Director.
